Carp or Bass?
Finally starting to kick off here in the PNW caught 10 the other day with water temps hovering around 54. Biggest was 4 the others were in the 3 pound range, caught most off the Evo chatterbait with the freeloader as a trailer. Black and blue are a staple for me and white and chartreuse, slowly reeling with occasional stops and finding the patchy grass before the spawning flats haven’t quite moved all the way in yet. Super fun day once I found the pattern and it clicked
For those that are interested. Here is the prompt to give chatGPT to get winning bait results from 2024. Keep in mind this is an example, and you can play with it to fine tune the data you get. By the way the benefit of having it create the script is you can rinse & repeat. There is limited information available via MLF
Have fun!

I know that wind direction can cause a lot of fluctuations. So I guess I’m trying to ask.. how do you over come that? Does north and east facing wind have that big of an impact?
Got out again today to a different lake. Not new to the lake but first time using live scope there. Based on looking for them in winter mode, with the water only 53 degrees, I was on them shortly after hitting the water. Some all the way on the bottom, some suspended. Both groups would give chase, but no bites. Tried a few different things with no luck. Im feeling confident in reading the lake and using my sonar. Now I need to crack the nut on tackle and/or technique. Any tips from anyone about how to try new things or change set up systematically until you find what works?
