Breaking down a new lake seems overwhelming. At its core there’s really 3 things that matter.
1. What’s available - meaning what structures cover, vegatation, shoreline cover do you have to fish. Become very intimate with this.
2. What do the bass eat?- this lets us know likely places bass will be. If we understand what they eat it gives us a area to start looking.
3. What are we good at? - most anglers don’t really know what they’re good at. The pro perfect this. They find water that matches what they know how to do. That’s how thousands of acres become 2-3 acres really quickly. Do you know what you’re good at?
