Hello fellow anglers,

I’ll start by introducing myself. I’m Cale Williams, I am in my 40’s and live in eastern Nebraska. I started fishing in my early days as a kid and have found memories of it. I recently picked up a rod and reel again about 3 years ago and a lot has changed. Not so much in regards to fishing itself, but the my understanding of how many levels there are to it. I’m not just doing it as a past time, but as a small part of self improvement. With too much information widely available on the internet, I wanted to hear from the horse’s mouth and from everyone else who choose to follow.

I want to improve on all my techniques, but don’t know where to start. I have invested in a xtr and now have more capabilities to fish than ever. What would you all suggest I do? Master one lure or a limited number. I have a lot of options around me and I like to take weekend trips all around the central Midwest. I happily look forward for your information.

Okay for what it is worth I punch two little holes in my horny toads feet with a leather punch I started doing this on speed worms to free up the tail all I can say is it really worked this weekend

Do you guys have any tips for getting into the middle of these pads? The fish start blowing up and I can't find an effective way to get out in the middle.

What’s up fishing fam, I’m looking at adding a unit to the bow I was looking at the Lowrance FS elite and active target so that I can connect with my HDS and have FFS but I saw the eagle eye for less but wasn’t sure of the difference other than I can’t network the eagle eye with my HDS; what would the fam do and if you know any other differences please share.
