Yes you absolutely should your active target needs to be up front for it to be productive. I actually don’t run a 2d on the trolling motor anymore like I used to. However if you’re just starting to use AT2 I’d say get a separate trans up front for 2d as well. That way all the returns are relevant

I did a show last year with 2d. I can admit the active target is pretty nice for this. For you it would be nice to find isolated grass clumps and Lily pads under water on high tide!

Cody Walling just everything tangles and wraps and it’s just in the way all the time. By the time there’s a tackle bag a net life jackets now there’s nowhere to land a fish. 2 spinning 3 baitcasters I think if you need more than that you probably should be fishing from the front
