Itās really hard as I started fishing national tournaments to do this. I have to get really creative now. Thatās why I fish for other species. It introduces me to other people and different ways of thinking. The biggest grab is learning a new way to look at things. I have a few friends that I can compare findings with. Youād be surprised how little most competitors actually fish. Competition is mostly mental so Iāve found the most value in other sports. Helping my son with motocross has been a eye opener as well. Thereās resources and value literally all around us and what Iāve found is itās often found in a non fishing environment.
