on tidal fisheries like the Potomac the tide pulls extra hard so it makes the water muddy, really high and really low. That does affect the bite but there's really no way that I know to adjust for it.

No one knows. They just make up fake things. I hear so much stuff but no one has ever given a solid explanation. If there’s nothing you can adjusts for as a angler I’d say don’t worry about it.

You can't go wrong with a white spinnerbait. I bet they'd hit a jerk bait from the looks of where you are fishing.
