I think the bigger question is what’s the context? On certain lakes (big ones) there’s absolutely a big deal. It can actually push water from one side of the lake to another. However on others it may not matter that much. On smaller lakes you may in fact chase the wind. Go to it! It’s all in context. What baits are you using and what are you trying to do to catch bass. In short wind can be bad and it certainly can be good. Tell me more about this lake and we can dig into it

That’s a great topic. I always look for places where the fish can only move vertically and not necessarily horizontally. By that I mean steeper banks if they are available. The fish will only go up or down with the water. Flatter coves and banks allow the fish to move further back in the timber making them harder to target. However that may not be available to you. Can you tell me more about the lake?
