I just fished Florida for 7 days. It was surely slower after about 9am. I always resorted to fishing the thickest cover I could find and punch that with a 1.5oz weight. It usually picks up at about 5pm in the evening.

oh yeah! I've taken up to 8-9 months off before. That's a normal emotion. I don't think it has to be ignored

punching seems to be the best way to catch them where I was this past week. It's a lot of work. I also caught some on a Carolina rig as well

we'll talk about this! I literally just filmed a workshop about it. Long story short there's only 2 things to look for when fishing grass. Where the grass is thickest. Where the grass is spotty or thinner. This week I found fish in both of those.
