Let me know how this goes. I’ve never been able to catch the reds in the summer. In the fall we catch them really good though. Have you been there before?

I think I understand where he’s going with this but I’m not sure. I tried my best to pull it out. This is the second time he’s mentioned this. Here’s the way I understand it.

When fishing tidal rivers I’ve noticed a better bite 4 specific times. First hour of outgoing last hour of outgoing. First hour of incoming and last hour of incoming. The moon causes those shifts. Well if I’m thinking right those same active time periods happen in non tidal situations without tidal movement. Also the best days are during outgoing for the first few hours of daylight. When first outgoing meets first light they bite their ars off. 

I think this is what he’s saying.

Absolutely freaking lootly!!! I have now grass or vegetation here. I still fish a frog a lot!!! It can be a bream imitation. I don’t get many bites but it works!
