we all do that at times. I'm guilty of it too. What I try to be conscious about is my breathing. IT SOUNDS CRAZY! Focus on your breathing when you have a big one on. You'll slow down.

 I don't think their location changes but I do believe there's feeding windows. I feel like that late morning is always golden. 8-11am. it's all so subjective to what type of bite it is. If it's a deal where they feeding on alewives or some type of pelagic bait fish I feel like earlier is always better. If it's more of target oriented bite such as rock piles or grass lines any time of the day can be good. Let me know if that makes sense.
