I’ll have to send the one from this tournament after I get home. The internet is too weak

More wraps the smaller the line. The bigger the line the less wraps! With bigger line there’s more area for friction and it just makes the knot big if it’s too many wraps

I use 30 and 50lb on baitcasters. Yo-zuri is good, power pro is ok, it really doesn’t matter. Then on spinning reels I use 10lb and no bigger than 15lb. If you use 6 or 8lb on spinning you may experience more wind knots. 10 is the happy spot for me.

Great job! Keep showing up. There’s little nuggets of information that happened today. Make sure to pick them up. I think it’s a good idea to rehearse what you saw and what you experienced. There’s a good chance it’ll show up the next time you’re out.

Where you got bit. Where you saw beds. How they reacted to lures. The water level. The bottom hardness. The water clarity.

Definitely debrief the day.

Try again. It did play when I tapped but it may be a little bug in the system.

I love Buggs. Are they spawning yet? I actually fished my first ever BFL regional there.

smallmouffs!!!! I want to hear how it goes. I noticed at least you don't have to be bundled up in layers so that's good if nothing else.

now you're talking my language! I leave for my next tournament on Sunday. As soon as I get back we can jump into that. I'll make shoot a quick mini workshop on the gear you need before I leave then go deeper into how to do it when I get back.
