Don’t wait start now! So many of you wait until you have a tournament to start the fishing trip analysis. Don’t wait. Even on your casual fishing trips start using the process now. That will make it much easier when you actually have a fishing tournament to prepare and come up with a plan to catch fish.

I can’t sleep thinking about what kind of workshop I want to do next. I think I want to do a bank fishermen’s technique break down. How many bank anglers do we have here? If I can get even one comment I’m film this tomorrow and have it up by the weekend.

Last night on the live, we talked about preparing for upcoming tournaments. Daniel and Jacob both have some fall tournaments coming up and we basically focused on three things to get them ready for those events.
1. we talked about what the lakes have to offer.
2. Second thing we talked about was reflecting on times that we’ve had that were successful during that time of the year or in similar situations.
3.And the last thing we talked about was how to debrief and thibk about any obstacles that may come our way during the tournaments such as weather, boat traffic, etc.
In the next few days I’ll scour the Internet and look for videos and information that may be helpful for not only Jacob and Daniel but for you guys as well.

Here’s a few questions submitted to the Q&A this week.
For new subs every Sunday we have a Q&A. This is where you can submit your questions about fishing that may have come up through the week or on your fishing trips on the weekends. You can post those questions here or in the ASKBLAT channel.

I forgot to do the Q and A yesterday. If you have any questions today feel free to drop them in here today.

If you’re new to SUF every “Sunday” I do a Q&A where I answer any random question that may come up through the week or on your fishing trips. Nothing is off limits unless it is! 😆

On the live class Monday we talked about frog fishing quite a bit. One of the things that mentioned wast that all frogs aren't created equal. Some really are better than others for certain scenarios. I thought I'd give a gear list of my favorite frogs with links that you can view or buy them at.

Jakal Iobee - Best for finesse open water frogging.

Spro Bronze eye - Best all around frog. If I had to live with one it would probably be this one.

Bobby's perfect frog - I have nothing to say but if bobby says it's good and he designed it must be good. I haven't used this one a bunch.

Terminator Poppin frog - Good soft popping frog. Best in open water. Poppin is tougher to use around pads

Deps buster K - DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS FROG! LOOKS CRAZY BUT WORKS. Hook ups and easier to walk with the hair tails. It has a very unique action

Use any of this braided line- I haven't really come across any braided line that I feel won't work for frogging just yet.

Rods- Casting Open water frogging ( not heavy cover) 7-2" MH Fast- Casting Heavy cover - 7-3" or larger Heavy Fast

Use any of these rods that fit that description on taper and size
