What happens to a farm pond in the fall? Have you listened to the last live class yet? All of those principles apply to bank fishing as well!
Today I’m using the key fall time transitions that we talked about in the live to catch bass EVEN IN A FARM POND.

If you’re new to the app every Sunday, we do a live Q&A here within the community tab. You probably fish this weekend and I bet there’s a couple situations that may have come up that you would like to have a little bit more clarity on it. Post those questions here within the community tab and if I don’t know the answer I’ll find somebody who does.

I’ve noticed something about creating bank fisherman content. Often times we believe that classes for bank anglers aren’t valuable for boaters. NOTHING CAN BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. A principle in one area of fishing is compatible in every area in fishing. That is true often time across species as well! There’s tons of nuggets about fishing current, lure selection and map study in the “mastering bank fishing” workshop. All of these lessons are congruent for everyone here in the school. The only difference is the mode of transportation.

Mastering bank fishing current and eddies river tips

Bank Fishing Part 2Fishing behind dams and along riverbanks isn’t about luck—it’s about reading current and making smart choices. This lesson breaks down where bass position when the water’s moving and how to spot overlooked holding spots like eddies, holes, and shallow side ponds. You’ll hear why high-oxygen, food-rich upper river ends matter, and how condensed current below dams can make fish location more predictable. We cover key tactics like long casting, using natural colors, and getting stealthy to avoid spooking pressured fish near the bank.Learn how wading or kayaking gives you access to less-pressured water, and why matching your lure and presentation to subtle current matters. If you want to get off the beaten path and catch more river bass, this session shows you how to think it through.Learn how you can make bank fishing easy!Watch “mastering bank fishing” Masterclass part 1 hereBank Fishing Part 1Gear list for wade fishingLinehttps://www.omniafishing.com/p/sufix-832-braid-with-seaguar-invizx-100-fluorocarbon-leader-material/braid%20color*hi-vis~yellow--braid%20weight*10lb--fluorocarbon%20leader%20weight*12lbSMHhttps://shopblat.com/collections/smz-wormz/products/6-5-smh-wormz-purple-rainSMH jig headshttps://shopblat.com/collections/z-man-smh-jigheadsNed rig headshttps://shopblat.com/collections/finesse-shroomz-headNed plasticshttps://shopblat.com/collections/hula-stickshttps://shopblat.com/collections/trdSwimbaitshttps://shopblat.com/collections/minnowzJerkbaitshttps://shopblat.com/collections/13-fishing-lures/products/loco-special-3-5ft-jerkbaitKeel weighted hookhttps://www.omniafishing.com/p/owner-flashy-swimmer-colorado-blade?fishing_reports_sort=true&fishing_reports_waterbodyhttps://www.omniafishing.com/p/z-man-zwg-worm-hookJig headshttps://www.omniafishing.com/p/z-man-finesse-eyez-jigheadBagshttps://www.mysteryranch.com/Packs/Outdoor/WaterproofWading bootshttps://shop.opticsplanet.com/compass-360-tailwater-cleat-sole-wading-shoe-men-s.html?_iv_code=2C2-FM9-CFCSWS-2414355-11&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD7bK9_oENWax_8Y_RxVBq-_QvImX&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItODfxL6YiAMVJDfUAR12BSd2EAQYAiABEgKQKPD_BwEBait bagshttps://www.omniafishing.com/p/6th-sense-baitzip-bags?fishing_reports_sort=true&fishing_reports_waterbody

Lately I’ve been mentioning fishing the upper portions of rivers and lakes. Mark Jonas asked for a deeper explanation of why that’s important. Here’s why that’s a place you should be looking for the next 6 weeks.
