Brent Jost ok so you know wayyyyyyy more than the average angler. You’ve identified what stage the fish are in. You know what structure and vegetation is available. You’ve even identified a food source!!! So now all you need is some tools. 

Grass, bream, shallow water. What would you think a good bait to target those options with?

Weather absolutely affects fishing. There’s not a 100% accurate way to answer what is best. There’s other variables that have to be considered.

What species?

What type of fishery?

Time of year?

Is it during the spawn, post spawn, pre spawn, summer, fall or winter

All of this factors into the equation of “what’s best”

Can you tell me a little more where you’re fishing, and more about how you describe what is “best”. Does that mean when they bite best? Does that mean when you’re the most comfortable? Does this mean when it’s most safe?
