Put a waypoint down and I use my trolling motor to keep the boat on that dot. I always have a Lowrance point 1 antenna that updates more often it keeps me closer to tha waypoint.

If you’re new to the app, we do a Q&A submission every Sunday. This Sunday I’d like to make the Q&A a little more specific to fishing offshore during the fall. By offshore I’m referring to not fishing the shoreline. Most of the bass right now are not on the shoreline structure. Of course there are bass on the shoreline but MOST of them are scouring open water now.
Are you intimidated by fishing offshore?
What do you normally struggle with in this area?
Is it tough for you to find the right areas to fish?
