I have a new workshop that dropping Monday. This one dives into visual details of where to fish during cold fronts. I show you how I attack the upper portions of a lake and how I fish the lower clear water sections of a lake as well. Look for it to drop sometime Monday . Also let me know if you guys are getting the email notifications for the workshops. If not let me know so I can get that fixed. This workshop is 7 parts so you definitely want to see every part of it.

the dots in the photo are bass. Brooks actuall caught one of these bass. I was fishing one of the ditches that I was talking about on the quick tips video. You can see there’s not much visible bait there but there’s definitely bait around. When it’s bright and sunny bait can be a lot harder to find.

This is what I call “knocking the sides off of em!!!” I’d eat more fish if cleaning them wasn’t so much work😮‍💨

I know this isn't the best picture. I didn't have this realization until editing my tournament footage. On this spot I caught maybe 30 bass in about 2 hours. Do you notice how tight that ball of bait is? Just a complete circle. Those bait are scared! That's how bait protects against predators.  You can see the same thing if you use a 2d sonar unit. There's still a lot for me to learn about this but it's very obvious that bait behaves differently depending on how many fish are around.  I never thought of this before.

This is a picture of my graph from Rayburn. Your's looking at a picture of a ball of bait on 3d sonar. This is what a ball of bait looks like when it's not threatened. Notice how the long skirt of forage lingers out to the right? They aren't worried about predators.  I'll post another screenshot of a place where I caught fish every cast. You'll notice a difference in how tight the wad of bait is together.
