I use 15lb braid. For me anything smaller just creates too many wind knots. The bigger braid is easier to manage.

Great question. I’m not sure I can confidently say when one is better than the other. I definitely use both at times. I used it at lake of the Ozarks. I switched between both shakey head and Ned. They’re both basically the same concept. I really like the Ned a little better when fishing behind a lot of people.

I wouldn’t say there’s one just yet. It’s great for smallmouth and spots and you CAN catch largemouth as you see in the video but it doesn’t seem to be a tournament winner. That’s probably why.

I don’t like any plastic that has movement personally. Straight tail only. No appendages or anything at all is best!

You can flip it over like a shakey head and make it more snagless. I’ll do a video about that. It’s the best way to fish grass with it. You could also Texas rig it!

So believe it or not Ned started using the different Ned Head colors because we had no dye for the elaztech formula. I’ve used chartreuse quit a bit. I can’t say that it matters yet but I have used chartreuse and red a lot.

This I use to punch grass with. It’s really heavy. I’ve done a YouTube video fishing it. I’ll shoot you a link.

This is a strike king punch skirt. I don’t have those on my site. You should be able to get them at any Tackle store however.
