Wesley Strader helped me understand that I already had all the tools that I need to be a good fisherman. I just needed to work on my mind. I never really learned techniques or baits from other anglers but many anglers confidence rubbed off on me. One time I traveled with about 6 other anglers and I learned that they struggled just like me but they didn’t get down. It’s the little things that made me realize I wasn’t far off

Common sense fundamental fishing knowledge

  • Spawn, pre spawn post spawn

  • Clear , stained or muddy

  • Reservoir, Lake, River

  • Warming cooling or stable

  • Grass, Rocks, Wood, docks (dominant structure ex: (lake of the Ozarks) (okeechobee)
