A brother in this Straight Up Fishing family, a teacher of strength and adversity, and hands down the man with the best hookset we’ve ever seen, something we joked that even Brian needed to learn from him.

But what I’ll remember most is the way he showed up for all of us. The conversations, the encouragement, the way he made this community feel like a real family. Tron made a difference here. A big one.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, his friends, Brian, and everyone here who’s feeling this loss. Love you all. Thank you for the support, the connection, and the community we share. We’ll miss you, Tron.

I think that’s what I’m leaning towards. I like those big fat squarebills. I just need to learn how to fish them to gain more confidence.
