I am a husband, father of 3 girls, and a retired Army veteran who settled in Virginia. Fishing was my first love and I love chasing bass!

Orange eyes! Let the pre-spawn begin. I do miss fishing those southern lakes and ponds as a kid.

Mack Toon I already pick your brain on kayak and fishing equipment! As long as I’m not running kids to sports, I’m in!

Yup, get the popcorn ready! What about a round table night of just BS?

Thank you

I have always wanted to catch a walleye! Is there a big difference between the store bought and caught in flavor?

I couldn’t agree more! This topic really peaks my interest, especially as someone who has only competed in a local tournament once. Unfortunately, that experience was cut short due to mechanical failures right at the start, and I haven’t tried again since. Would participating as a co-angler be the best way to get back into it? It seems like a great opportunity to learn from experienced anglers.

That said, I have plenty of questions—everything from how much tackle to bring to proper boat etiquette. I appreciate you diving into this topic!

Also when you order the hydraulic kits, make sure you look at the fine print. A lot of models require the adapter kit and it’s sold separate.

That works out perfectly since I promised my daughter I would have lunch with her at her elementary school today.
