Brian I was able to fish a lot of those lakes as a kid in North GA during the 80s. Lake Russel is the last one I vaguely remember, not sure if we made it down to Juliet. Definitely looks like a blast!

Texas rig I always ran the banks, but the drop shot is deadly. I like to hit the edges and under docks and lonely stumps. Great confidence builders for me when first using was a purple 4” finesse worm.

Yeah I love the ol fishing stories on the ships. My favorite was assisting a massive black marlin haul on an LSV in Hawaii and catching yellowfin schools off of Hatteras. The watercraft field I. The Army treated us nice throughout the early 2000s.
