Best kept secret in the military. Of course we fish on Army ships around the world. Here’s a sample from 1999 off of Cozumel Mexico on the USAV 2034 Perryville. Go Army!

Take the time to watch Randy and Brian talk about trailers in the latest live.
I have always been a soft plastics guy, but I joined this school to open my mind with spinners, chatters, cranks. I hit the lake this morning throwing my nemesis, the Chatterbait, that everyone so loves and I can’t catch crap with. I paired it with rapala crushcity mayor. Looks beautiful and matched the environment somewhat. Tip learned in the video. Had a few hits and landed a decent one with the three reels, drop retrive. Learning the bite will take some time, esp where it feels like your hung when they hit it. At least that’s how it was today.
What’s your experience with the chatterbait? Any helpful tips?
Today new lesson: I flipped the paddle tail over, upside down, when threading on. Game changing!

Good morning team. In need of advice. I lost my trolling motor yesterday after the housing decided to blow up. So now the search for a new one begins. What’s your preference when it comes to selecting the best trolling motor for the dollar spent? I currently run a 24v, 70# on an 18’ fiberglass. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Have a bless day

Spent most the day on the lake throwing spinners, chatters, texas, drop, etc with the intention to keep wacky aside for my practice run. After a true skunk in the making, I made the switch. Guess I know my plan on Sunday. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Chickahominy Lake ( Historical)

Fairly new to me lake. I have fished three times to gain some knowledge as I prep for the local tournaments. I have never fished a tournament before so this is all new to me.
I do not have like scope. I have a personal goal I need to achieve before I allow myself to add.

\\Lew’s Warranty Experience\\
Purchased a Lew’s Custom XP for $100 when they were on sale back in June and have fished with its religiously since. A week ago, I went to cast a wacky rig and the rod snapped. Filed a claim that night on the Lew’s website. A lady, Amanda, replied by email within 30 minutes of submitting my claim. She requested that I chop the pole in half where the model number was located, take a photo of the cut with my claim number and email her those photos to complete the steps. Simple, just the way we like it. My claim was approved in less than 48 hours at full value to be used within 365 days. Great experience and would recommend Lew’s.

Am I the only one that struggles throwing a frog. Over and over it’s always the same thing. The bites are there, but I cannot set that hook. I lost more than 5 my last outing before I went back to my traditional baits; soft plastics, spinners, cranks, etc… BUT that dang frog!
