Virginia just released the top 5 citation Largemouth Bass lakes!
Rules: They have to be at least 22 inches long or weigh 8 pounds. Yes, Lila.

1. Smith Mountain Lake, 24 Citation Fish
2. Briery Creek Lake, 11 Citation Fish
3. Lake Burton, 8 Citation Fish
4. Sandy River Reservoir, 7 Citation Fish
5. Lake Anna, 5 Citation Fish

Tim, I didn’t. I did rent an AirBnB. I can ask the renters if they allow campers or tents. It’s about 20 minutes from the park.

Lake George hit us with 36” overnight once—that led to a serious conversation with my wife. Four months later, we sold the house and moved to Apex, NC. Cold won that round!

Virginia’s in for a fun ride from Wednesday to Thursday! Days like this make me think we should’ve moved further south when I retired from the Army. Hopefully, this is the last big one—then it’s time to get back to fishing!
