Good morning. Currently considering setting up my little girl, she’s 8, and to be my co-angler for local tournaments. She’s great at fishing the wacky, has her count down and twitch to be dangerous. My dilemma is she loves to catch, but the fishing part gets boring. My questions for children are:

1\\. At what age do you recommend or start?
2\\. What are great confidence baits?
3\\. Do you have a rod reel combo preference?

Thank you all and have a blessed day.

Texas rig I always ran the banks, but the drop shot is deadly. I like to hit the edges and under docks and lonely stumps. Great confidence builders for me when first using was a purple 4” finesse worm.

Yeah I love the ol fishing stories on the ships. My favorite was assisting a massive black marlin haul on an LSV in Hawaii and catching yellowfin schools off of Hatteras. The watercraft field I. The Army treated us nice throughout the early 2000s.

Best kept secret in the military. Of course we fish on Army ships around the world. Here’s a sample from 1999 off of Cozumel Mexico on the USAV 2034 Perryville. Go Army!

I also just restocked my chatters and trailers two days ago with the mini max, as suggested for the fall.

We wouldn’t use solvent as they would remove the oil or grease.

BFS: Shimano

Salt would deteriorate the magnesium.
