Thank you Barde! I couldn’t agree more. Fishing is supposed to be fun. We can very quickly make it not fun. B always say follow process do what is comfortable to you and have some freakin fun! Thanks again for your breakdown. Are you going to fish them again next season?

I always have one tied on. Probably don’t throw it as much as I should. After seeing this I will today.

Thanks guys really caught me off guard. Adrenaline racing fist pumping in the air set it on the board close mouth gently and SNAP ok gently close SNAP more water run to pond see gills flexing ok run back to truck set him down and SNAP. So I closed it again and kinda held it down and kept it closed to get the shot. That is the first time in 45 years of fishing that I saw that. Is it more the larger bass or have you guys seen this with regular size and single scoop bass? Thanks again everyone for the info.

I would start at top and work frog and work my snag proof zoo kick through all from top to bottom throwing up on bank and working back. Then I would have a heavy and light punching/flipping rig and go through with each of those. Also I would run spinner bait and or chatterbait back and forth at different water columns. And I would finally through my crank bait across the point in second picture. Depending on day would depend on what I did first. Looks great!

Henry Shepherd that sounds like a great deal what shape is it in? Why is he selling it?

They say it does. I found a unicorn so I hopefully don’t have to worry about the mariner. I’ve been looking for a boat since I talked to you and Fluke at the retreat. I am the guy with the boat the guy died before he gave me title and bill of sale. Still in process of getting that job boat legal. I found a unicorn though it is a 1997 Sea Nymph FM146 center console with a 25 horsepower Johnson on it. The entire boat and motor only have 10 original hours on them. The lady who is selling it husband passed and they kept it in a garage t for its entire life. I am praying that it pees well when we test it. You wouldn’t believe what she wants for it. Thanks though for checking in. I haven’t had a boat in probably 20 years. I had a 17 foot Lund half V half flat big lakes boat. Very similar to your new toy!!My ex wife’s uncle stole it and hid it in the woods on his property up in west Jefferson NC. A whole other story.

Henry Shepherd I’m in Anderson. It actually is on a boat that I was looking to buy however it looks like I found something much better a unicorn if you will. It’s a 97 Sea Nymph FM 146 it only has 10 hours on the water and has been inside of a garage it’s entire life. There are no scratches or marks my brother is on his way to get it now as long as it runs and pees properly. It has a Johnson 25 on it again the woman who has it says her husband never used after the first time he got it. What should I be concerned with on this motor as it has been sitting? Thank you for all your help Henry. Do they call you Henry or Hank?

No problems yet. Thinking about buying this motor and didn’t know anything about it. The reply you sent tells me everything I need to know. Thank you! “2 strokes are fairly easy to work on. “ I’m told it runs great. Are they reliable? I know of the mariner line just don’t know much more about them. Thank you for all your help. Where are you located? I’m in SC
