Today I got my pb 8 lb 3 oz and I have to admit that it was all credit to Brian Latimers sufschool. I used the techniques and tackle that I normally wouldn't use or didn't have enough understanding to use. Thank you Brian for making things easy to follow and understand. My fishing game has forever improved (not that it was bad before) and this is less than a month in. Caught in Florida, neko rig 

In regards to the screw lock, I agree with everything you said however if they were to cut the screw lock back 3/4 of the corkscrew for just enough to hold the bait, do you think it would still affect hook up ratio ?

Ken Pfeiffer caught 25 on a Texas rigged green pumpkin lizard, caught 2 on a lipless crank bait and one on a creature/craw bait. Yes fish fry afterwards and good fellowship!

Did a little bit of pond management at the request of the owner. Challenges I faced was being able to throw the fluro line instead of braid and having more line snaps more often due to it being 10-12 lb line. Was too aggressive on my hooksets and had to turn it down a touch to adapt to the fluro carbon 

Wish I would have seen. This before the weekend started. That's awesome man

Ken Pfeiffer fishing deep grass in really clear water with a shaky head jig on a green pumpkin red flake strike king rage bug. Most of the fish were caught by letting it get down all the way to the bottom before ever lifting the rod. And also caught 1/2 of them on the waky rig thanks to the recent neko rig videos on here I used some of the tips he gives and it made a difference
