Should I fish swallow where the bluegill are or fish deeper where the bass hopefully are I was thinking a jig with trailer or a Ned rig both with bluegill color. And fish it at the 10 foot range, my issue is I probably over complicated fishing. I only catch bass when the are feeding and I can see them. If the bass are out of sight I can't seem to get them.

I don't know really, i tried the crankbait with chartreuse with black back which they didn't touch. Should I go with bluegill colors, maybe a bluegill crankbait. Or a chatterbait with bluegill colors with swimbait trailer. But where are the bass, why are they not feasting. Does the time I go fishing matter, I usually try after work and that is about 530pm or so. I watch a video with Bobby the guy that talked frogs. The bluegill are sitting on a ledge about 4 foot wide before it drops off to 10 feet or so. I think I should try a bluegill colored chatterbox w/ green or blue trailer maybe a jig with trailer. Is it best to use a bluegill colored swimbait.

The bluegill are in about 3 feet of water and it quickly drops of to 10 to 14 feet, I feel it would be a great ambush point for the bass anywhere along that area , they could literally swim up that slope and get to the bluegill.

Monroe reservoir,  man made lake. Post spawn, spring time may15th, water vis is around 3 feet, rocky bottom with some vegetation spots, depth of 10 to 14 feet, 2 trees or laydowns, I see no bass at all, but bluegill are in the shallows, cloudy skies with rain all week this week, I bank fish right now, will be getting boat in January. I also purchased the Omnia app to help. I am trying to understand how to find the bass using the Omnia app and what I can see. Water I'd between 61 and 67 every day. I had a chartreuse and black 1.5 squarebill crankbait but the tree stole it,lol. I am a risk taker and not afraid to hike to a better spot. Monroe indiana is where the lake is located. I want to learn, you won't bore my with the technical aspect of bass fishing.
