my dad has always told me to focus on 1 fish at a time. get that fish then focus on the next fish. It helps because my focus is "focused" on a simple 1 item task, 1 fish. 

During our tourney, ours were on solid silver bill Lewis trap.. 1/4oz.. 3-5ft ripping through the grass and all in the am before 10am.

well that would of been nice but no. All came on a solid sliver trap. They were chocking it sideways. 

That is about avg. for one of their trouneys. 

Bass champs is really competitive. A lot of "local" and regional guys fish. Payout is not bad if you win. 400 entry / 25k first 

This was lake fork in Texas. It is a slot lake so you can only "keep" fish under 16" or 1 over 24"

with the wind, i would stay in the coves and calm areas. i would have a chatter bait, a trap in silver/blue back or all silver, a red trap, and something you can pitch.  with the way our weather has been, it is going to be anyone's guess on what to do.
