First fish on the new boat a month or so ago. Ironically it was caught about 100 feet from where I caught my first bass about 30 years ago when I was 8. Just over 3# largie.

It was hard to tell with it all dying but it’s usually a mix of milfoil and hydrilla in that area. Some areas have eelgrass also. This stuff was thicker though and she was sitting right on the inside edge of one of the holes.
