I know this is a fishing community, but I got my 1st ever Buck (not the ideal way though)🤷🏾🤷🏾

I had a blast this weekend taking my niece and nephews out. I even got a cool pic of a huge tree full of fish.

I couldnt tell you how many times I watched B.Lats video on installing a keel guard. It was an easy process once I got it taped into the position I wanted it. I purchased 1 that was 1ft. Longer than the recommended size, so that I could get a little more coverage. #DIY time for a boat wash.

Headed to go practice for an upcoming derby and this happens.

Well, I placed 15th today. While driving home I was doing a tournament recap to myself. So this question is something that kept coming up.... what is a morning bite? I was on a morning bite or pattern and was clueless at the time. Yea in the mornings we want to throw top water baits (we as in me), but the pattern I had found was shaking a minnow 🙄at single fish that were around bait balls, which i had 2 within the 1st hr. Bad decision on my part because I left that pattern and tried to force a top water bite🤦🏿‍♂️. Lesson learned thats for sure, because the morning bite wasn't a top water bite! I'll do better on Lake Conroe at the next tournament.

These cooler mornings sure are nice! Now let's see if I can gain a few spots within younder classic before football comes on haha.
