Never give up your passion. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. Who cares what others think brother! You're doing something that you enjoy doing and blessed to have great friends to let you get on their boat. Head up, chest out and fish on!

If you could change 1 thing about yourself to make you a better angler what would that be? For me it'd be getting back to the basics. Watching the recap of B.Lat's last tournament and watching him throw the "ball and chain" aka Carolina rig around touched home with me. I grew up throwing the C-rig. I've spent thousands on electronics and figure I'd better use my FFS, when in fact the older techniques are proven techniques that can flat out catch them.

In my opinion it's the same as a T-Rig. You're gonna feel the thump, see your line moving or you're gonna pick up on it and it's just mushy!
