I would be hunting largemouth. Popper around beds, big swimbaits on fist contour change. I have not fished a one fish event but that’s how I would approach this.

Haven’t seen a full on spawn happening but I did see, twice the other day, maybe 6-8 shad spawning on a few pieces of floating vegetation.

Went to expand on my area at Sinclair today for Saturdays tournament, ended up finding better fish. 91” best 5 today.

They were near bream beds but they were eating shad just under the surface in about 6’ of water. About every 10-15 minutes a few would bust.

Today’s catch on a 550 acre local pressured lake. I thought the wind and clouds would get my buzzbait firing, but after two hours I finally decided they had zero interest. That’s when I went another direction, changed to a weightless fluke. Boy did they want it, 15 to the boat in one hour, broke a few off and lost a few at the surface. Most epic numbers hour ever, I made the same cast for that whole hour, it was unreal. Here’s a few.
