Hahah! I was tired. Made my little card and just plain old forgot to look at the tournament ID versus the registration code. Simply put…it was my too dumb moment of the day lol (fortunately they don’t happen every day)

I’m going to use it as a frog rod and a light flipping rod 1/4-3/8oz. Probably bed fishing with some lighter line (15-17lb test)

Unfortunately I didn’t get to lay into any fish with the frog! But, the balance and weight are definitely better than I anticipated. Really enjoyed using it and I plan on slowly converting over most (or all) my rods to them.

What’s your best suggestion for a ‘trap rod? It’s a big player in the couple of places I fish regularly.

I’m also a big fan of everything being the same brand etc, so my OCD doesn’t like what’s happening, but, I had to branch out a bit. Cashion was another brand I was looking into

They look awesome, and a great price point. I’ve owned rods up to $600, custom, cheap. I feel like the best rods always end up around that $150-$200 range and these rods are right there.

I have an array of rods right now. Dobyns , lews, 6th sense. Unfortunately, as much as I love 6th sense baits, their rods all have defects and 2 have snapped clean in half. No hate to them, I’m just not satisfied with em. But giving credit where credit is due, their warranty team has been great. Fast response, fast warranty process.

Had bad luck with Ketch(my experience). Had 2, both broke or cracked super quick. I just got the yak attack one and I’m impressed. Thick plastic, very clear numbers and also has adjustable slides to help be more precise. Also has a mirror on the bump end to show the fish is truly up against the end.
