My son and I fished together on Saturday. The temp was up and the bass were very active. We caught so many that we lost count, sometimes they were snatching the bait the second it hit the water. We were using plastic worms again and also tried a couple of plastic swim bait. They hit all the plastics! Anything slow retrieve was good to go. I’m learning more about what the bass are eating and how plentiful the food source is in this particular lake. I know that the bass can only grow based on the food source. I think I have my son hooked on fishing for bass! He might be one of my new partners!

There are still some pretty cool people in this world. I got invited to fish in a private lake that some Tennessee anglers own. It’s a 100 acre lake that they say have some really nice fish in it. I’m kinda excited to see what we catch! Hopefully I will have some stories to tell you guys once we go.

Another highlight of my year is riding my bike! I’m older and wiser so no crazy stuff, but I still like to run it when I get the chance. I even take it to the track to run it because the track is taken care of well. I have always loved bikes and cars. Fishing helps me to slow down and enjoy a different type of sport!

Me and my son went bank fishing yesterday at a lake on a friends property. Really nice lake! We started off with spinner because that’s my norm. Not a single bite. Then we tried a Rapala minnow lure that the owner of the lake told us to try. Again, nothing. I decided to try the most natural thing I had in my bag, a speed worm junebug red. First cast a bass ate it on the drop! It seem that the bass did not want to chase! Once the worm got their attention we just let it sit for a minute before we moved it again. We caught 10 bass using that technique with the same worm. It was my sons first time bass fishing from the bank. He really enjoyed it! The weather was perfect and the fish did not disappoint. I will share a few video clips once I edit them down.

Good morning! What do you guys consider a day that is too windy to fish? I understand a little about wind speed and wind gust. When you look at the wind report for the day, what makes you say “I’m not going out there today?”

Quick question! I use DJI action 4 to record video when fishing. I have one camera around my neck but the battery does not last as long as my cameras connected to Ian and being charged by the boat. Do you guys use some type of external power for your action camera around your neck? If so please tell me about it. Thanks in advance.

Another highlight of my year! My wife is like my good luck charm! She went fishing with me one evening after work and I caught 12 bass within 2 hours. I love when she gets decides to tag along.

Is this just me? Everytime I see a commercial of someone talking about specific lure that I need to have, and they start talking about the 3 different colors that make it the best lure, it just hits different after that last live that we had! It makes me feel like the joke is on them and I have the real inside scoop! I’m just saying!
