Got a little time on the lake today with my dad and was able to catch a few. Water temp in North Texas is still high 60s low 70s. Today was blue bird skies with no wind. The secret to these fish is in the last picture. Every tip or info I could give for today is in that picture(click on it to see the full picture).. 😉.

WOW, one heck of an afternoon. 18 fish total, with these three lunkers. I was the only one on the lake again! I used to hate fall fishing... All of these were on deep structure, I assume their winter homes. Thanks for letting me share the pics.

Saw this one blowing up on bait! I’ve been keeping some sort of jig in my hand since the live with Randy B.

I'm tellin y'all, Lake Juliette is a hard nut to crack... Hooked a good one on a diesel minnow, but my line got wrapped up in anchor.... Back to the video... Bait balls were everywhere. Yet nothing really blowing up on them. What do ya think, have y'all ever seen that???

Just a little bridge fishing on a river creek. Lipless crankbait in about 12 foot of 62 degree water on a cloudy day.

Fishing Hack: Had to replace my anchor wizard cord and chain. Since the old one is at the bottom of Lake Juliette... I chose to use a chain as an anchor again so I can adjust the weight in the river. I took the idea from the Fluke Master instead of him using rod socks to wrap the electronics cords. I am using them to wrap the chains. Hopefully this will help with unnecessary snags on rocks and debris. I have 5 total, each weighs about 1.5 lbs and is approximately 12" long. I also melted the ends, but for extra security I ziptied the tips as well.
