Hello everyone!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying your day / weekend holiday and catching em.

I have a question-What do those who fish out their kayak do to secure your boat from being stolen?

Unfortunately today some greedy people stole my NK300 motor, NRS Vest and Ketch board out the back of my truck in less than 30 mins while I stepped inside a local business. The items were in a big Plano storage case.

Tough lesson learned today but just looking for suggestions on securing all kayak items in the back of the truck.

So... this is thermocline? it's in a small pond near me, not a very deep pond, I think 18' was the deepest areas..

I know this is a rookie question, but should I be throwing bait to stay above it (spinnerbait, jerkbait, top water, etc.), or to get below it.(carolina rig, texas worm, jig, etc).. Don't laugh at me, I've got a lot to learn..lol.

Wanted to reach out to all you anglers. I am looking for anglers across the country to join me on The Reel Backwaters Podcast and speak about your fishing adventures. Hit me up and let’s talk and get you exposed to the fishing world.

I asked everyone to share a fun moment yesterday. Here’s mine. In 2021 I went down to Okeechobee to prepractice for our first tour tournament. Okeechobee is one of the places where I will go in pre-practice before the event because most of the time the areas stay the same. In three days of Boat riding a fish about three hours. I found this area down south, and I actually never made a cast in it during that pre-practice.Fast-forward 60 days later when we had the tournament, it ended up being one of my best places and I caught so many fish there. I will never forget this tournament.
