Heading out to KY lake for a little fishing and play thru the weekend! A good ole boys trip, meeting good friends for our annual gathering.

Hey everyone! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to join! I fished tournaments many years ago when my stepdad was alive, then my fishing cut back with life getting in the way. My 13 year old son is now completely addicted and decided to start tournament fishing! He finished 4th in th OK BASS Nation jr division and 4th in the AOY standings in the Oklahoma High School junior division. Thank you BLAT for everything you do and making an awesome community! Hate I joined this app late and missed participating in the online tournament. Next time, I’m in there! Lol

First tournament in the Lowe Stinger is in the books. Boat performed perfectly in extremely shallow waters of Lake Garcia FL. The fishery is a hydrilla farm. We had a ton of success and my co-angler pulled in a 9.52 largie. I caught my limit early and upgraded 4 after. Nothing gigantic and that’s fine. I placed in the top 30% without any practice or prep due to real life situations. I had a great experience and learned a few thing to build on the skill stack and bridge of confidence.

Participated in the Major League Fishing BFL on St. Lawrence River today. The usually tournament fishing for me. Caught a Walleye, two pickerals and lost a 4 pound bass 2 feet from the boat. I did get to score these two nice ones for 6.12 pounds and standing at 34th in the point standings.
