I just wanted to update you all on my AOY chase!! I finished top 10!!! my goal was to make top 10 and i made it 9th in my AOY!!! I fished against some absolute hammers in my trail!! i am so pumped for the bassmaster kayak first event on Feb on LAKE MURRAY!!! LETSSS GOOOOO!!!

I was just wondering what you thought about online tournaments because you had started doing online tournaments. I also host online tournaments again with not great success and I was trying to get your perspective. But the other reason why I was reaching out to you is, I'm working on a project with Sean Dekle who's a part of the J19 Black Mythology Project in Atlanta Georgia coming this May of 2024. Sean told me that he had been communicating with you but did not really tell you much about the project. I was asked by Sean to reach out to you about this event. What this event consists of 5,000 kids coming to Atlanta Georgia for a 7-Day event during Memorial week. This is to help Young IndyE and future entrepreneurs to pair up with companies in the medical industry, financial, business industry, sports and much much more. My position in this as co-producer along with Sean in the sports section, we are bringing in young Anglers to participate in a fishing tournament and a week long of instructions and fishing techniques prior to the 2-day tournament. We have already contacted Ke' Mari Cooper who won the Bass pro shops amateur tournament that was held across the country also we're bringing in Ronnie Green from a Fishing Story. We're talking to 25 major universities and colleges to participate to help give scholarships to some of these young Anglers. We would love to have you as a part of this event to help nurture these young Anglers future careers in the sport of fishing. I took advantage of some of the tips of the last school and pulled this old beat up long tank out of Lake Texoma this weekend. She ate a 6” Keitech. I’m sure she’s got some stories to tell.

You told me once instead of learning a bunch of different techniques I should get confidence in around 3 techniques that I feel I can take anywhere to catch fish. My question is what 3 techniques do you feel you can take anywhere in the country and catch fish in a tournament setting?

Hey Blat,  Ima start with this! A wise person once said “exposure leads to expansion”! The reason why you should pick me, is that with your platform and the exposure that you would be able to provide would not only help in expanding my mind and passion in the world of bass fishing. It would also aid in bringing the knowledge and techniques back to my area and inspire more anglers that look like you and I to achieve the same heights!

You,MDJ, and Ish are real big reasons why I started my bass fishing journey just a little over five years ago,I really feel that representation matters! Seeing and following y’all over the years has really inspired me to get out there and do something that I don’t see a lot of people that look like us doing!
