Kayak friends- Wanted to share this little trick a friend of mine taught me and it has helped me not lose fish when they flop! I place my net under the board and tilt the board slightly in. If it flops it will likely go into the net! The only I recommend doing is pulling the board back further so more net is exposed. You can see a better of example of this on the next slide ➡️ I posted a video of this before as well! Corey Richardson
Started the first leg of the migration to Guntersville. Then on to Pennsylvania and South Carolina. I’m bringing a box of assorted baits my wife made for all of us to play with and get feedback. She busted her butt to get these done in time. #proud
So I qualified for my first tournament of champions with the southeast Georgia kayak bass fishing league. I’m excited. It’s on my home lake.

Got salty with them this morning. We’re only allowed to keep two up to 27 inches. We boated 30 of them.

Brian... that short you made about cpinnerbait being better than a chatterbait... That's my friend Marshall Stamps (Georgia Bassmaster), on the FNGO (Fish North Georgia) podcast.. We fish the Flint and Ocmulgee rivers together sometimes.. Super nice guy, awesome river angler, on a great podcast..!
I did a little cull work today. Took some 1pounders from an over populated pond for a family fish fry. I really enjoy this scenario it gives me the opportunity to work on different techniques and see how fish respond.
I fished a two day two lake team tournament, one lake each day. Each team or individual was allowed 5 bass each day. We did not place and we got lunker for the first day. Look at those mega bags brought to the scale each day!!!!!!
