From a guy that spent a few years selling boats, I know the changing weather creates a lot of conversations around this topic. Just throwing it out there. Brian gives a lot of good advice.
Hope you get on the water a little this Easter Weekend!

If y'all are in or close to the middle georgia area here's another opportunity to meet one of the greats (Hank Parker)... He's no BLat, but he's up there. Hahaha. Hope to see y'all there.
If you missed the retreat this sermon is about knowing how long to fish a area before moving on and how to approach decisions on the water.
How To Build Confidence In ...
I just found out about a kayak tournament this weekend on a lake about two hours from me. I’m considering signing up! I’ve never competed in a kayak event before and I’ve never fished this lake. I won’t have time to go up to the lake to practice before the event so it feels silly to sign up for this totally blind. But there’s no harm in trying! I plan on doing all the research I can and then hopefully I can go this weekend and explore a new lake (and catch a few bass fingers crossed). I’m thankful for this tournament prep sheet!
Hi fam, need some help please. New to live scope this year and I've had some luck so far but struggling to ID the fish that I want to target. I keep finding these massive bait balls but not the predators. I'm in Michigan and the fish are still behaving like it's winter. Water reached 45 degrees today for the first time this year. Any tips?
TC Lay hope this helps. I used to go off the tail lateral line. But sometimes if the fish gets stressed the lateral line stripe will be solid lake a large mouth's.
Any suggestions on map cards for a Lowrance HDs pro. Not a huge fan of the c map on board.
We have heard BLat say a few times that he believes the cold water fish mouth seems harder than when the water is warm. While I’ve been touring the frigid northeast from my home warm waters in South and Central Florida, I have to say I completely agree. Not kissing butt. I’ve noticed it during hookset, especially on a jig and even release. It is an adjustment. BTW: the layers required to keep myself warm is insane!!!
Straight Up Fishing Angler Development Program sponsor Jersey has arrived. Looking forward to participating in my first BFL tournament on May 10th.
