Brian Barde and Tim Dodson both asked tonight about way point management. I actually keep SD cards for different lakes with all my waypoints. I run Lowrance on the console and they have the ability to to export waypoints by region. So short answer is the prep work is creating a card for each lake. Once I have done that, then I purge the unit of all waypoints. When I go to a lake I input the lake card I have... Download waypoints.. Fish, create new waypoints, end the day, export to card then purge unit. Seems like alot fo steps but it is actually quick. Longest part is creating the cards for each lake.
