BLat’s most recent post about geek about geeking out and how it relates to confidence got me thinking. what’s the path back when you reach a point where you lack that confidence in basically anything related to fishing? Which got me thinking about last year’s retreat and the session about confidence bridge. It made me wonder if there a recording of that session somewhere in the app?

Been a few months since I’ve posted—life’s been busy. Got out to practice for the derby I run on my home pond at Lake Bowen and managed to stick a couple solid 3-pounders.
Tournament day rolls around and wouldn’t you know it… I got humbled and took home smallest fish of the derby with an 11-ouncer.
Funny how this sport we love can make you feel like a hero one day and keep you humble the next. That’s fishing. 🎣

And so it begins! Finally the ponds are full of fish again. After not even SEEING any fish for months it was great to see them. Got this little guy on the worlds best shakey head SMH!
