August 28

In the past 7-10 days I’ve fished in the local rivers. I’ve mostly been catching them between the grass and the shore on multiple baits. I have caught a couple In the openings in the grass, but seems most are looking towards shore. Normally I would’ve fished the edge of this grass out deeper quickly or skipped by, but now I slow down and pretty much stop at these spots where I see a noticeable separation between shore and the thick grass, and it’s been paying off. Tips I’ve learned here like staying off the trolling motor I beleive also helps a lot.
