Took some tips from B Lat's buzzbait video and snagged some nice bass in a smaller lake. Good stuff. Appreciate the videos!!!

Just wanted to show some love for all the kayak anglers here especially the ones in SOUTH CAROLINA!!!! 

Hey everyone, my name is Mitch Reuter. I fish a team tournament trail out of Mississippi River Pool 13. I'm really looking forward to learning and taking my game to the next level. Had a tough year, missed the championship cut, but now I really want to push myself to get better. 

Video I posted is a backwater lake where 90% of the derbys are won. 1.5-3' of water throughout. Google image "Ayers, IL" and you'll see spring lake just to the West. Curious how everyone would break it down.

I was wondering what you would suggest for the tougher smaller lakes? max depth of like 17 feet? Fish seem to be lathargic in our local smaller lakes and we are fishing kayak tourneys where 2 fish are winning. any suggestions??
