I fished with Nathan Sipes today on Clarks Hill. Today we did exactly what we talk about in “How to Fish Laydowns” workshop. There’s different types of Laydowns and often times certain types of wood is the key. After no bites for 2.5 hours the window of opportunity opened and we caught several in the span of a hour.

That’s often times how tournaments are successful or even won. That’s how bad fishing trips become lifetime learning experiences.

I had a little better day today with 12-15. There’s not many places I live fishing more than these northern rivers for largemouth. I could do this all day everyday and never get bored.
