Side scan and 2d is gonna help a lot. Have you already installed yours? I actually would love to catch one in the middle of the lake in my kayak. For some reason that seems like it would be cool to me.

Yes you absolutely should your active target needs to be up front for it to be productive. I actually don’t run a 2d on the trolling motor anymore like I used to. However if you’re just starting to use AT2 I’d say get a separate trans up front for 2d as well. That way all the returns are relevant
