This has come up quite a bit. I’m thinking on how to talk about this. It’s all about context. I always mention it when explaining how to fis certan baits and techniques. It’s all relative to what you’re doing so boat position is specific to every single lure and every single technique

Great topic as well. I’ve ever sharpened a hook in my life. Today’s hooks are chemically sharpened not honed so you actually dull a hook with traditional stones. If your hooks are dull get new hooks.

That’s a great mindset shift! Wait until you realize there’s no such thing as talent! Then your belief system strengthens even more.
