Kayak Tourny Angler down in NC by way of NJ. Love learning traveling and competing for little green fish https://dot.cards/alexonthewater

caught 1 on the frog, water was down 3-4 ft so those thick mats were either dead on the bank or choking 1-2ft of water. The one bass i caught im guessing was on the edge of the mat and chased my flapping frog back to the boat and ate it right at the boat

Christopher Waters upper end of the Yadkin River yes and then rare once they get close to high rock lake. Surprisingly I caught my PB smallie on the Yadkin River near Elkin NC. I thought it was a brown alabama bass but it didn't have a tooth patch

my buddy taught me how to flutter spoon with 2d, the only issue I had was once you catch one in the group they will scatter fast. FFS has helped me find them after they reset.

Finished 4th, really needed bigger fish to bite day 2. Fished super clean all weekend but I sat with a 12.75 in my bag for 4 hours and couldn't catch an upgrade. Great event and I had a blast. Looking forward to Alabama now 😀

grouped up schools suspended, minnow above, through, or hopped up near them would not make them compete for a bite. I swapped to the flutter spoon and they activated almost instantly pulled the school and 3 missed so I let it fall past the misses and the bigs in the school attacked and she was big. 5lb 3oz, 21.5in
