6inch visibility, 82 degree water temp

Black mat algae(snot grass,witches hair etc)fishery. I started at the high rock dam it was pushing 1100 cfm so I assumed a great bass bite in current. Catfish and white bass were abundant, so left there after an hour. Moved south to a park with a primitive launch .Fished bank lines with shallow shelves flat shelves into 6ft+ water found a t-rig speedworm bite near wood. Finished with 86 inches and 2nd place finish. One of my keepers came from throwing a frog in an opening of the algae mat, bass missed it, followed up with a neko worm and caught it. Definitely thought of our previous live talking about vegetation and ways to attack it. Be safe this weekend and ttyl
