Fishing our local chain has been a struggle lately. Ā Not getting many bites. Ā Because of rain, water levels are up 2ft and there is an algae bloom. Ā Water went from clear to heavily stained green. Ā I’m sure this is a shock to the fish not being use to the stained water. Ā Any thoughts? Should I treat this like fishing muddy water, concentrate on shallow structure and ambush points? Ā Bites I’m getting are in the mid-depth weeds flipping a worm. Ā Haven’t tried fishing deep off shore humps or ledges yet. Ā Wasn’t sure if the water clarity got better with depth.Ā
