I’ll take a warm sunny day on a clear natural lake with water temp in the 60’s fishing some weeds.  Let’s go!

Brian Latimer were you targeting them or accidental catches?

Do you feel an underspin would help generate more bites?  Smallmouth is going to be the species I go after this next couple weeks.

I’ll be practicing all weekend for two tournaments coming up the following week.  Will finally be warm in the 70’s!  18-20mph S winds and water temps still in the mid 40’s. One tournament lake will have stained/muddy water.  The other crystal clear.

I usually stick to my couple go-to baits but I did buy a bunch of the new Zman stuff.  Looking forward to trying it this season at the cabin.

Wonder if it has something to do with how it’s presented or lateral line natural instincts?

Same thing happens when you catch a Musky when fishing for bass.  Fish just gotta eat sometimes.

One of those would keep me fishing all day too regardless of the weather.

After watching the live on the water workshop one thing I realized that is really helpful for me is seeing where you cast.  Even though it may not be super relevant, and we love seeing you, but just found it helpful.  Best way I can visually describe it is like when you prep to go fishing and tie on a bunch of baits.  Then after you see the water you have to change all your baits.  Does that make sense for this scenario?
